North+Sur

North+Sur is a bilingual media space dedicated to the analysis of international relations and political affairs, with a particular focus on the American continent. This publication is guided by a commitment to the principles of liberal democracy, multilateral cooperation, and a rules-based international order.

North+Sur is primarily written by Alejandro Hodge Hernández, though other writers participate by invitation from time to time. Alejandro specializes in international relations and political science, with an emphasis on Latin America (in particular the member states of MERCOSUR) as well as the United States.

Alejandro holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science (International Relations Concentration) from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s Degree in Culture of Peace, Conflict, Education, and Human Rights from the University of Cádiz.
